A few random pieces from around the coffee interwebs this week. I’m sure you’ll find something interesting!
Tim Wendelboe Transparency Report
🔦 Tim released his transparency report for the 15/16 financial year, with a few interesting tidbits. Primarily he’s stopped paying for quality, and instead, is paying for production costs specific to each farm/country. I like it. See his other reports and posts on the topic here.

If you’ve never been to a WCE/SCAA event like this I strongly recommend it. Coffee in Croatia
🇭🇷 So, my parents are in Croatia for a few weeks and keen to grab a good coffee. Any readers with a hot tip? My mum can tell if a Barista competitor is going overtime before the clock hits 5:00 and Dad makes a better pour over than you do.
Please hit me on twitter @mattperger or reply to this email! Thank you!
See You Next Week!
