There seems to be new energy around topics of gender diversity and inclusion, a renewed willingness to say, “come on, lets do something about this”. Certainly that’s our view at The Coffeewoman
. We seek to not just acknowledge that gender gaps exist within the coffee industry, but find a way to close them. We strive to develop the connection between women and their voices: to give them a safe place and a platform online and through events, to advance the role of female-identified coffee professionals. Because it’s 2016 and it’s time.
